During Covid
Julia gave very helpful suggestions for the type of window dressing required and had a good selection of patterns to choose from. The rails were expertly fitted and the curtains fit like a dream. I would highly recommend using Julia’s service as I am delighted with the curtains. Everything was done in a Covid secure way and we didn’t have long to wait for the curtains to be made and fitted.

Our new build needed curtains, so we researched locally for someone who would be prepared to help with this mammoth task.  Julia's reviews filled us with confidence and we made an appointment to meet her for a preliminary discussion. Within a very short space of time we knew we had made the right choice.  The range of fabrics we were shown was wonderful and the ideas for how me might dress our windows came thick and fast.  However, Julia did not rush us into decisions and we went away with swatches of material to study at our leisure. An estimate for each room was produced and despite the pandemic problems she was able to make and fit our curtains at a steady pace.  We have been absolutely delighted with the results and have had many compliments from all our visitors.

I was moving into the area, unaware of any custom made curtain designers but luckily I found Julia. As it was during lockdown, she was wonderful providing samples for my lounge curtains without me needing to leave the house.  Julia came to my new house with the estate agent and did all the measuring up so they were ready for when we moved in.  The samples were very relevant to my needs and the final effect was stunning. I can not rate her highly enough as there curtains were amazing and beautifully made.  Thank you for everything!

We have employed Julia to make curtains, cushions, chair covers, etc.  Initially she made us some large, heavy curtains, taking great trouble to match the pattern.  She could offer a good range of fabrics but was also happy to work with our own inexpensive material.  We have employed her several times and would highly recommend her: her workmanship is excellent, she is friendly and helpful and put herself out to come and hang our new curtains on Christmas eve.
